a) Responsible for the overall management of the project assigned, project co-ordination including work schedule planning, materials planning, site reports and meetings, and monitoring all according to schedule generally. b) Responsible for manpower control and supervision including related technical activities. c) To assist Managing Director for pre and post contract works including preparation of tenders or quotations. d) Responsible for attending site meetings, measurement of contract works and all other duties that may be required in accordance with the Company’s Quality Management System. e) Responsible for preparing materials submission for consultant/customer’s approval, prepare material order list and schedule, submit material requisition forms to Purchasing Department complete with actual quantity required and brand/specification as approved. f) Responsible for preparing monthly progress claim, follow up with consultant valuation certificate and later to assist Accounts Department to follow up payment if required. g) Responsible for liaising with customers, consultants and relevant authorities in the execution of duties. h) Responsible for preparing shop (including calculation of size of metal trunking, etc.) and installation details drawings, as built drawings with the assistance from Draft Person. i) Responsible for the project assigned to it’s completion according to schedule, recorded testing and commissioning prior hand over. Issue hand over letter/certificate upon completion. Ensure proper maintenance job being carried out during the warranty and maintenance period. j) As head of Department, he/she has additional responsibilities to ensure SWE Group's management system is in compliance to ISO 9001 QMS requirements as stated in SWE-QM Quality Manual Clauses 5.1 Leadership and commitment, 5.2 Policy and 5.3 Organization roles, responsibilities and authorities. k) To proactively comply with Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations. l) Abnormal condition feedback to superior. m) To undertake other duties assigned or directed by superior from time to time. Requirements a) Minimum 3 years working experience in construction field. b) Must be able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. c) Knowledge of ISO 9001 will be an advantage. d) Good communication skill and able to coordinate with all staff / sub-contractors / suppliers / consultants / customers and relevant authorities.
