Commercial Transactions • Provide legal advice on the Group’s business and operations across the region such as corporate restructuring, merger and acquisitions, formation of business ventures, joint ventures, and financing. • Provide legal advice of the Group’s business transactions such as corporate restructuring, merger and acquisitions, formation of business ventures, joint ventures, and financing. • Draft, review, negotiate, advise, and manage agreements contracts and documents related to the businesses of the Group. Dispute Resolution • Manage and coordinate with external legal counsels and other third-party advisors on the Group’s dispute resolutions and other legal related matters. • Represent the Group in dispute resolutions at the courts, tribunal, and mediation proceedings. Legal Research and Compliance • Advise on legal implications and recommend alternatives to ensure legal compliance in respect of the Group’s business operations, and highlight legal risks in respect of the business transactions or exercises. • Conduct legal research to keep abreast of relevant changes of laws and advise on the required changes and impact to business operations. Risk Management • Contribute towards raising awareness amongst the business units as to the legal risks to the Group the critical need to take proactive measures to mitigate the Group’s potential exposure. Property Development Projects • Attending to agreements and other related documents (collectively “Documents”) in respect of property development projects and liaison and follow through with relevant departments / personnel and external / panel solicitors (where applicable) to facilitate completion and finalization of Documents from time to time. Strata Management • Provide legal advice on strata management in respect of the Group’s stratified properties • Represent Group in strata management administration and operations. General • Ensure collaborative objectives are achieved with various internal stakeholders in relation to internal audit, internal control, risk management, process improvement and efficiency. • Provide legal advice to ensure the Group’s interest are safeguarded.
