Responsibility & Authority: • Develop & Implement Preventive, Corrective and Predictive Maintenance improvement framework to minimize maintenance, repair and replacement costs and abating the risk of critical equipment breakdown or interruption • Set up an effective system of recording and monitoring of defects and breakdown reports in order to take remedy and immediate actions to minimize shut down times • Ensure that the personnel working in this team has acquired the right skill, are given proper training and are up-dated with the latest method, procedures and requirements • Must be hands-on and lead a small team of technicians in performing machine maintenance in respective section to achieve set targets of machine efficiency, up-time and utilization • Support production activities at all times by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns and achievement of equipment availability targets • Lead emergency (unscheduled) repairs or first level troubleshooting of facilities critical equipment • Plan and execute reliability improvement projects for critical equipment focused on new technology development, evaluation, and application to both existing and emerging risks • Supervise external vendor maintenance and repair on critical equipment • Provide feedback and give suggestions to improve equipment stability and performance • Managing stock and supplies of critical equipment spare and replacement parts & update on the maintenance expenses report • To provide full, accurate and timely completion of all maintenance logs, schedules, etc. to comply with Health and Safety legislation ISO requirements • Responsible for good documentation i.e. prepare standard operating procedures for machinery, to ensure all equipment and technical drawings are updated and maintain accordingly • Ability to withstand pressure and adapt to high volume 24 hours/7 days manufacturing environment • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time, other ad hoc tasks and duties as when required • Responsible for designing and developing mechanical product and system concept, and forecasting of spare parts • Ensure all designs completed for production release within the stipulated timeline as per Company's procedures • Provide technical advice and support to other departments as and when required • Generate manufacturing detailed drawing and other engineering related documents • Ensures that the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 requirements are effectively carried out 4. Competency Requirements: • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or equivalent • Working experience in manufacturing environment will be an added advantage • At least 1-3 years of experience in both system design and site work, preferably with experience in the pyrolysis process, power generation process, steam/gas turbine hydraulics and catia components, thermodynamics • Expertise in Solid Works, AutoCAD and drafting software is required • High technical competence and skills • Experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical & mechanical equipment • Able and willing to work off hours as needed to support manufacturing operations • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and multi-tasking in project tender, design, implementation, and management • Job Type: Full-time • Fresh graduate is encouraging to apply
