Job Summary: The Admin Account Clerk is responsible for assisting with a variety of administrative and accounting tasks to ensure the efficient and accurate operation of the organization's financial processes. This includes handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, and assisting in maintaining accurate financial records. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Accounts Payable and Receivable: o Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments. o Reconcile accounts and follow up on outstanding payments. o Prepare and maintain records of transactions. • Data Entry and Record-Keeping: o Input financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets. o Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents. o Assist in preparing financial reports. • Administrative Support: o Provide general administrative support to the accounting department. o Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating office activities. o Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate with vendors and clients. • Bank Reconciliation: o Assist with reconciling bank statements and ensuring that financial data is accurate. • Support for Audits: o Assist with preparing documents for internal and external audits. o Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. • Communication: o Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and other internal departments. o Provide customer service by responding to billing inquiries. • General Office Duties: o Perform other clerical duties as required. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus). • Proven experience in an administrative or accounting role is preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is a plus. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy. Working Conditions: • Full-time position, Monday through Friday, [8.30am – 5.30pm]. • Office environment
