A marine foreman is responsible for managing a team of workers and resources to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Some of their responsibilities include: Supervising: Overseeing a team of workers and construction leaders Managing resources: Ensuring that labor, equipment, and materials are used appropriately Communicating: Ensuring that all on-site activities run smoothly and well-organized Training: Training and motivating workers Ensuring safety: Administering good construction safety practices (HSE) Ensuring compliance: Ensuring compliance with local Workplace Health, Safety and Environment regulations Maintaining equipment: Maintaining the workshop, plant equipment, tools, and testing and monitoring equipment Reporting: Reporting executed work according to standards
