Description
- Research and identify new leads and potential new markets.
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.
- Developing quotes and proposals.
- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities.
- Responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions.
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients.
- Maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support.
- Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (speaking is a MUST as would need to deal with Mandarin speaking clients).
- Required basic software skills: MS Office.
- Solar Engineering Project/Business Development Experience is a PLUS.
- Self-motivated with strong willing to learn attitude.
- Capable of performing in a high paced environment.
- Must possess own car.
- Minimum Junior Executives specializing in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent sales person with excellent sales track record and experience will be seriously considered.
- Candidate will be based in Petaling Jaya branch office.
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
