Account/ Finance Executive

About the role As an Account Assistant at Goodwill Entertainment Malaysia, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance and accounting functions of the company. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru, Johor, and will involve a range of responsibilities to ensure the accurate and efficient management of the company's financial records and processes. What you'll be doing Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, and other accounting activities Preparing financial statements, reports, and other documentation as required Assisting with the processing of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions Providing administrative support to the finance team, such as filing and document management Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial tasks Adhering to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant financial regulations and standards What we're looking for Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role, preferably in the entertainment or media industry Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment A problem-solving mindset and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance, such as a diploma or degree, would be an advantage What we offer At Goodwill Entertainment Malaysia, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
