Responsible for the overall management of a multi-shift environment and will coordinate of mining operations including production, logistics and maintenance while ensuring compliance with all labour, safety, environmental and corporate policies and regulations; Manage mining operation for efficient and optimal production level, including scheduling of personnel and equipment (dredgers & ect); Assists in coordinating activities between Mining, Sales and Operations to ensure proper balance between production (stockpile management) and inventory levels in order to serve the customers; Liaise with Jabatan Mineral & Geosains, Terengganu in all matter related to mining; In charge of Borang 13D handling and submission to Pejabat Tanah & Galian Negeri Terengganu; Responsible in developing and maintaining motivated staff and achieved budgetary and production targets; Provide regular reports on progress and overall silica plant operation to the General Manager; Ensures all mine personnel are continuously trained in order to understand promote, and follow Terengganu Silica Consortium's Safety, Health, and Environmental standards and meet the zero incident/zero loss goal and works with SHE staff and Company officials to promote a safe work environment that meets all Malaysian State and Federal rules and regulations; Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field ( Degree in Mineral Resources) Minimum of [5-10] years of experience in mining engineering, with extensive experience in mine design, operations, and project management. Proven track record in managing large-scale mining projects, including open-pit, underground, or other mining methods. Proficiency in mine planning and design software (e.g., Surpac, MineSight, Vulcan, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring junior engineers and multidisciplinary teams. Strong analytical skills to evaluate mining plans, resolve technical issues, and improve operational efficiency. Knowledge of mining laws, environmental regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and proposals. Willingness to travel to and work at mine sites, including remote or challenging locations.
