Offset Printing Operator

Responsible for the operation of an offset printing press, including:
Setting up the press: Loading plates, mounting plates, and loading ink
Monitoring the press: Ensuring the press has enough ink, paper, and varnish to avoid stoppages
Quality control: Inspecting the printed materials for accuracy and quality
Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and cleaning the press
Troubleshooting: Resolving any issues or malfunctions
Communication: Communicating deviations from job specifications to management
Efficiency: Making suggestions to improve efficiencies and ensure the press runs at optimum speeds
Coordination: Coordinating with other team members
