Main Responsibilities: • Responsible for planning, design and delivery of Cambridge IGCSE curriculum of the relevant subjects • In charge of at least one area of Co-Curriculum Activity Job Scope: Quality System • Comply with the procedures for the operation and functioning of Paragon Schools consistent with the philosophy, mission, values and goals of the school including instructional programs, extracurricular activities, and discipline systems Reporting and Record Keeping • Complete in a timely fashion all records and reports relevant to job responsibilities • Maintain accurate attendance records and students’ results Cambridge IGCSE Curriculum Design & Development and Academic Quality Control • Develop, monitor, evaluate and promote the Paragon Schools instructional program • Work with Programme Coordinators / Curriculum Coordinators (HoD) to ensure current innovative educational practice, relevant curriculum content and regular assessment of the educational quality • Establish the annual master schedule for instruction programs, ensuring sequential learning experience for students consistent with the school’s philosophy, mission statement and instructional goals • Supervise and guide other junior teachers • Perform classroom observation for other teachers • Ensure all teaching and learning resources are adequate and in working condition for the subject area Professional Ethics • Establish a professional rapport with students and staff. Display the highest ethical and professional behavior and standards when working with students, parents and school personnel Curriculum Delivery and Assessment • Teach/Deliver lessons in English language or others assign subject for Cambridge IGCSE Primary and Secondary levels in the International School • Plan and develop scheme of work based on annual master schedule • Plan and develop lessons using appropriate pedagogy methods • Design and develop formative and summative assessments • Mark/Assess students’ work and compile students’ results • Monitor and report students’ performance and progress • Implement appropriate follow-up actions e.g. remedial lessons, counselling • In charge of at least one Co-Curriculum Activity • Assist and support marketing events • Any other duties assigned by the Management
