Paint shop Engineer

Oversee and manage production control activities in the paint shop, ensuring smooth operations, optimal production efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. - Monitor daily production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet targets. - Coordinate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations. - Review production output to ensure adherence to quality standards. - Develop and implement strategies to optimize paint shop operations, including equipment utilization and waste reduction. - Track inventory levels of raw materials (paint, solvents, etc.) and ensure timely replenishment. - Conduct root cause analysis of production issues and implement corrective actions. - Maintain production records, including output rates, downtime, and material usage. - Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. - Strong knowledge of paint processes, materials, and production methods. - Analytical skills to assess production data and implement improvements. - Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field - Minimum 2 years of experience in production control or process engineering in a manufacturing environment. - Experience in managing a paint shop or similar finishing process is preferred.
