Software Tester Intern / QA Intern

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Tester Intern to join our QA team. This role will provide hands-on experience in software testing processes and methodologies, helping to ensure the quality and functionality of multi-applications. The intern will work closely with testers and senior QA engineers to identify bugs, execute test cases, and contribute to improving software reliability. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities 1. Assist in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications. 2. Perform manual testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks. 3. Document and track defects in the bug-tracking system, ensuring timely resolution. 4. Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and functionality for testing purposes. 5. Assist in automating test cases using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or Postman (optional). 6. Verify fixes and perform various type of testing to ensure resolved issues do not affect other functionality. 7. Provide feedback on software usability, functionality, and overall quality. 8. Technical Skills: o Basic understanding of software testing concepts, including test case creation, bug reporting, and regression testing. o Familiarity with tools like Selenium, JIRA, or any bug-tracking software is a plus. o Knowledge of basic programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript) is an advantage but not mandatory. 3. Soft Skills: o Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. o Effective written and verbal communication skills. o Ability to work collaboratively within a team. 4. Passion for Quality: A strong desire to learn and improve software quality.
