Manage sourcing and evaluating suppliers to obtain new healthcare products and/or services for the company or client procurement needs.
Process and review applications to register new vendors with strong justification (e.g., needs to purchase, quotation comparisons, vendor credibility, after-sales services).
Provide updates on market, vendor, service, and product trends to internal stakeholders.
Manage and develop strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and open communication.
Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships, including vendor contract management (new and recurring).
Implement and maintain effective procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal guidelines.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to diversify and strengthen the supply base.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Logistics, Finance) to understand business needs and ensure alignment to optimize ROI for spending.
Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.

Relevant degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent job experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Preferable experience in procurement roles (handling categories like vitamins, personal care, household items, medication, or poison).
Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to source from China, ensuring no communication gaps and smooth task execution.
Thrives in fast-paced environments, managing stress while maintaining high performance.
Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices in the healthcare sector.
Willing to travel for supplier visits and audits.
