- Purchases and provides order fulfillment activities in support of business demand to positively impact inventory turns and have predictable and accurate supplier on-time delivery.
- Negotiates pricing with suppliers and provide quotes to sales team to support customer opportunities.
- To coordinate with Marketing, Production & Store Departments in regard to all ensuring that IT's of good quality, on time deliveries and competitive pricings.
- Manages the order status process, including ensuring shipping and delivery information is accurate in company's systems. Ensures post Purchase Order (PO) placement updates are complete following PO backlog management process to include tracking, reporting and communication with matrix team members along with working with supplier(s) to meet deliveries.
- To work and liaise with the related departments to analyses and plan the necessary materials and stocked items to avoid understocking or overstocking.
- To compile monthly data and reports for all purchases and stocks to be submitted to the Operation Manager.
- To liaise with the transporter / forwarding agent and to monitor all incoming shipments to ensure that the delivery is on time.
- To prepare shipping documents such as the invoice, packing list, custom documentations (K2, MITI), etc. in regard to all imports and exports.
- To liaise and arrange with the transporter or forwarder in regard to freight.
- Assists in managing inventory aging and fill rate including disposition – stock rotation/liquidations as appropriate to meet the goals of the business.
- Supports group and/or organization key initiatives and objectives through contributions on project teams to include support of supplier management activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Full Time, 5 days' work week, can start ASAP
- Able to work independently and responsibility
- Able to multi task and prioritise daily workloads with good attitude.
- Computer literate and with fair spoken & written English & Bahasa Melayu.
- Mandarin speaking & writing is an added advantage for this position.
