About the Role
This position manages all aspects of technology and operations related projects in meeting the business objectives including ensuring timely delivery within agreed scope as well as adhering to the quality standards. The incumbent will also be responsible for the technology and operations outsourcing governance functions that involve reviewing, evaluating, developing, implementing, and maintaining the necessary controls and procedures that align with the business goals.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery from requirements gathering to post deployment review according to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards by working with the relevant stakeholders such as Tech Product Manager, Business Analysts, Tech Leads and Testers.
  • Ensure projects and change requests (CRs) progression to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate methodology.
  • Report key project metrics with regular status reports.
  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders (internal and external, including 3rd party vendors as needed).
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation according to the company policy.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and share with all the internal and external stakeholders regularly.
  • Work with stakeholders from the outsourced functions to support the outsourcing governance requirements including generation of documentations & regular reports, identifying internal control gaps and initiate remediation plans.
  • Arrange and coordinate regular governance meetings by managing the meeting materials, logistics and follow-up on the action items post meeting.
  • Track, monitor and assist in closure of operations & technology incident tickets.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Preferably in Management Information System / Project Management / Financial Management / Actuarial Science.
  • Project Management certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in project management or product development role. Experience in the insurance industry is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Positive attitude and good problem-solver.
  • Innovative, with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
