JOB AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • IT Support and Troubleshooting: -Provide technical support to employees for hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime. -Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity issues and IT infrastructure problems. -Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, printers, and other office equipment. • System Monitoring and Maintenance: -Assist in monitoring and maintaining network systems and servers to ensure they are running smoothly and securely. -Perform regular system backups and updates (software patches, security updates, etc.) to keep all devices secure and up to date. -Assist in managing the company’s email system, ensuring functionality and security for all users. -Help maintain the company’s website and cloud-based applications, ensuring they are running smoothly. • Data Security and Backup: -Support the IT Executive in implementing security measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and access control systems to protect the organization’s data and IT infrastructure. • Documentation and Reporting: -Maintain accurate records of IT assets and equipment, including hardware inventory and software licenses. -Assist in documenting technical procedures, system configurations, and solutions to common IT issues for future reference. • System Installation and Configuration: -Assist in the installation and configuration of new hardware, software, and network systems for employees, ensuring they are fully operational. -Help deploy and configure new software applications, ensuring they are compatible with company systems and meet operational needs. • Collaboration with IT Executive: -Work closely with the IT Executive on larger IT projects, such as system upgrades, office network configurations, and infrastructure expansion. -Assist in training employees on basic IT functions, such as the use of internal systems, software applications, and other technology tools. REQUIREMENTS: • At least a Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree in IT or a similar discipline will be an added advantage. • At least 1 year of relevant working experience in IT support, technical assistance, or a related field is preferred. • Must possess own transport and a valid driving license.
