The IPQC Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of products during the manufacturing process. This role involves conducting inspections, managing non-conformities, and maintaining quality standards to ensure that products meet customer and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. First Piece Inspection: Perform initial inspections on the first piece of production to verify compliance with quality standards before mass production. 2. Random Inspections: Conduct random inspections at various stages of the production process to identify and address quality issues promptly. 3. AOl Inspection: Oversee AOI Inspection Process which involves the machine scanning the PCB or other products to detect defects such as soldering issues, component misplacements, and other anomalies 4. THT Inspection: Oversee THT Inspection Process which involves to detect defects such as such as soldering issues, component misplacements, and other anomalies 5. Defect Analysis: Analyse the result for analysis purpose in order to have the trend analysis and continuous improvement. 6. Non-Conformity Management: Identify, document, and manage non-conformities, ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence. 7. Quality Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections and quality issues, and generate reports to track quality performance. 8. Customer Feedback: Assist in handling customer complaints and feedback, ensuring timely resolution of quality-related issues. 9. Inspection Equipment: Operate and maintain inspection equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly. 10. Process Audits: Conduct regular audits of production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement. 11. Training and Development: Provide training to production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures. 12. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Preferable Electronic or Electrical Engineering • Experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. • Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices. • Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. • Familiar with IPC-A-610 • Familiar with AOl Inspection and THT Final Visual Inspection • Lean Six Sigma At least Yellow Belt • Familiar with Data Analysis using 7 Basic Tools of Quality Control Working Conditions: • Work is typically performed in a manufacturing environment. • May require standing for extended periods and using inspection tools and equipment. • Occasional travel may be required for audits or customer visits.
