ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER

ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER JOB DESCRIPTION: 1. To carry out and attend site inspection for all environment and safety matters and report to SHO/PM. 2. To act as Environment Officer cum Safety Site Supervisor to comply the EMP/SHO Plan as approved by BHP 3. To assist and prepare report on Environment/Safety on all incident/accident happen during working period. 4. Assist the Supervisor / Project Manager of the project work site to wrote any incident / accident report and take part in the investigation 5. Liaise with clients, consultant, subcontractors and relevant government officials (e.g.: DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, KEMENTERIAN KESIHATAN & CIDB) to identify and resolve health, safety and environment issues inclusive of application and renewal of permit or license. 6. To assist and prepare all monthly environment and safety report. 7. To assist in inspection and audit all temporary traffic furniture (signages, barriers, delineator, light, etc) with Zone Supervisor and Traffic Management Supervisor to ensure all in order and maintained condition. 8. To prepare and report all daily activities related to Safety and Health, Environmental and Traffic issues. 9. To supervise and monitor site safety requirement and implementation at site 10. To arrange regular tool box briefing & safety meeting with worker or sub-contractor at site. 11. To carry out other activities which directed by Safety Health Manager and Project Manager/Project Director
