Planning: Reviewing the project to schedule deliverables and estimate costs Managing: Overseeing the construction team, delegating tasks, and ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and safely Coordinating: Directing construction workers and subcontractors, and selecting tools, materials, and equipment Monitoring: Ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations, and reviewing work progress daily Reporting: Preparing internal and external reports on job status Negotiating: Negotiating terms of agreements, drafting contracts, and obtaining permits and licenses Analyzing: Analyzing, managing, and mitigating risks Quality control: Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques Contractual obligations: Fulfilling contractual obligations to clients
