Kita Food Festival is a culinary consultancy that explores and celebrates food in Southeast Asia. Through a series of curated dinners, collaboration cook ups, symposiums and CSR programmes, Kita aims to spotlight chefs, producers, flavours, and food innovators, while offering inspiration and skills to the younger generation, and a platform for discussing consumption and the future of food.
This is a full-time remote role for a Content Marketing Manager, who will be responsible for crafting and implementing strategies to create and manage content for various digital platforms, as well as developing marketing plans and promotional campaigns for various events. Key duties include:
Social Media:
- Provide strategic counsel for Kita’s social media presence
- Develop social media plan and content calendar encompassing all of Kita’s social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and potentially TikTok
- Create and execute engaging and unique content based on an agreed upon schedule and style
- Devise a comprehensive list of channels to engage with for interviews and content collaborations
- Manage all social media accounts, including community management and ad buys
- Work closely with the Partnership Manager to execute partners’ social media entitlements
- Prepare a post-event report with campaign performance and analysis
Influencer Outreach:
- Propose digital influencers to collaborate with
- Manage influencer invites for festival events
Digital Content:
- Develop and execute a website content plan to ensure the website is constantly refreshed with engaging content
- Provide all written content for EDMs, including festival updates, F&B industry news from South East Asia, sponsor highlights and any other relevant content
- Work with media partners and sources to identify relevant news for a constant stream of engaging content
Marketing:
- Develop comprehensive marketing plans and promotional campaigns for various events
- Identify the core Kita market for various events and develop key ways to attract and maintain their attention
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 5 years of relevant marketing experience, social media, community, or brand marketing experience, preferably within the F&B industry or with a sound knowledge of food
- Proven experience in developing a creative, strategic approach of marketing campaigns for user growth and awareness
- Strong social media exposure and marketing ability across multiple platforms
- Excellent English language skills in writing, editing, and proofreading, with a keen eye for detail and adherence to grammar and style guidelines, as well as the ability to write with wit and humour. Impeccable grammar and UK English spelling is a must
- Strong knowledge on environmental issues and solutions
- Self-motivated, strong communication and project management skills, adaptable to fast-paced and changing working environment
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative content ideas
- Passionate about food and sustainability
- Malaysian citizen
- Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) - This position requires you to provide your own work-related equipment: laptop, phone and phone service.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
