At Fly Tred Resources Sdn Bhd, we specialize in crafting high-quality, handcrafted wood slab furniture that combines traditional craftsmanship with sustainable practices. We are passionate about what we do and are looking for a reliable and organized Store Keeper to join our team. This person will be key in managing the inventory and supplies for both our factory and showroom, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As our Store Keeper, you’ll be responsible for managing the inventory for both the factory and showroom, ensuring that the right materials are available when needed and that stock levels are kept at optimum levels. You’ll track and maintain the flow of products, from raw materials in the factory to finished furniture pieces in the showroom, and handle all aspects of stock control.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Keep accurate records of all inventory, including raw materials, finished products, and showroom stock.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, checking for quality and accuracy.
- Organize stock in both the factory and showroom, ensuring items are easily accessible and properly stored.
- Regularly check inventory levels and notify the manager when supplies need to be reordered.
- Maintain a detailed log of stock movements, ensuring that products are tracked through the entire process (from production to sales).
Stock Control & Ordering:
- Monitor the stock of raw materials required for furniture production and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Work closely with the factory team to ensure there are no disruptions in production due to lack of materials.
- Manage stock levels in the showroom, ensuring that display products are always available and well-maintained.
- Assist in organizing and conducting regular stock audits.
Support Factory & Showroom Operations:
- Assist with organizing the transportation of materials between the factory and showroom as needed.
- Help with the proper labeling and handling of products in both the factory and showroom.
- Collaborate with the showroom team to ensure that furniture displays are fresh, appealing, and well-stocked.
General Maintenance:
- Ensure the store and warehouse areas are organized, clean, and safe.
- Maintain inventory and supply records, ensuring they are up to date for reporting purposes.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or furniture environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage inventory efficiently and keep accurate records.
- Basic knowledge of stock control and supply chain management.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different teams.
- A strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
