JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

1) To manage Dai Suwon group of company QA department daily activities (inspection of purchased parts, subassemblies, finished goods and first article inspection) and ensure QA function run smoothly.

2) To drive overall company quality management system in compliance to ISO 9001 (QMS), ISO14001 (EMS), FSC and RBA.

3) Responsible in management of quality and environment system including but not limited to identifying, developing and establishing quality assurance standards such as standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions, guidelines, forms etc.

4) To work closely with production department, purchasing department and/or supplier on matters related to quality.

5) To handle quality issues until timely closure (include to drive containment actions, corrective actions and preventive actions internally and externally through root cause analysis).

6) To prepare 8D reports for customer, issue non-conformance report to suppliers and internal non-conformance report due to nonconformity (CAR management).

7) Review and identify internal/external manufacturing risks and improvement potentials, assuring actions are taken to close identified gaps.

8) To analyze data, provide suggestions for improvements and lead improvement project until closure.

9) Team player who thrives on deadlines-driven new product introduction (NPI) project.

10) Validate and confirm that packaging samples and final production adhere to defined specifications and requirements.

11) To lead internal/external audits.

12) To develop and monitor calibration programs of measurement devices.

13) To ensure inspection of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished product according to defined criteria (include FAI inspection).

14) To approve inspected materials that conform to specifications.

15) To track quality performance (including supplier performance) and prepare quality reports.

16) Coordinate and ensure all quality and environment policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to, regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.

17) Ensure company meets its statutory obligations in all area pertaining to environment including statutory training and reporting.

18) Ensure completion and regular review of risk assessment (FMEA, Aspect Impact) for operations.

19) Ensure all incidents related to environment are documented, investigated, and recommended improvements implemented.

20) Ensure environment training records are maintained.

21) To prepare management review report and provide regular reports to management team.

22) Any other tasks assigned by superior as deem necessary from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1) Education : Degree in engineering field

2) Skill : Management system auditing (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSC, RBA)

3) Experience : Min. 5 years in quality assurance and environment related matters. Experience in packaging industry is added advantage.
