Social Media Content Creator

Job Description

We are looking for energetic, vibrant and creative people to join our team! As a content creator, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing and editing content for the company for use on digital platforms. Candidates will be required to maintain consistency between marketing campaigns and content published, as well as brainstorm and suggest newer ways and platforms to increase the customer segment of the target market.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the marketing department to understand short term and long term marketing targets and develop content strategies accordingly
• Create content for promotional materials and social media posts
• Maintain consistency in content and ensure alignment with the brand history and plans
• Writing and reviewing content for social media pages, promotional materials and public communications
• Ensure that content is compliant with the copyright and data protection laws
• Ensure content is delivered according to project timeline
• Brainstorming and suggesting new ways to improve traffic to digital platforms
• Assist in events, exhibitions, workshops and promotional activities
• Perform other ad-hoc duties, projects, and initiatives as assigned and when required

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least an equivalent Diploma / Degree in any discipline
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-moving environment
• Can handle stress and tight deadlines
• Attention to detail along with a creative mind
• Proficiency in multimedia software, especially Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledge of basic photography and videography
• Familiarity with motion graphics and video production software such as Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects is a plus
• Good written and spoken Mandarin language preferred
• Good team player and a self-starter who is able to work independently
• Able to work long or irregular hours when required for events (including weekends and holidays)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
