As an Operations Manager within Product at Dr Vapes, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between product development and market deployment. This role combines technical documentation expertise with operational coordination, ensuring our products meet all compliance requirements and are properly documented for manufacturing and distribution. You will work closely with product development, sales and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product launches and maintain operational excellence.

Technical Documentation & Compliance

  • Create comprehensive technical specification sheets for new products
  • Develop and maintain product variant documentation
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met in all product documentation
  • Review and validate compliance standards across different markets
  • Maintain technical documentation database and version control

Product Operations & Systems Management

  • Manage product setup in inventory management systems
  • Coordinate with label printing companies for artwork production
  • Review and approve product labels and packaging artwork
  • Upload and maintain product data in internal systems
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Supplier Relations & Quality Control

  • Evaluate potential suppliers' manufacturing capabilities
  • Review supplier SLAs and pricing proposals
  • Coordinate with manufacturers on product specifications
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained across suppliers
  • Document and track supplier performance metrics

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Liaise between product development, marketing, and supply chain teams
  • Coordinate product launch documentation requirements
  • Manage communication with international distributors regarding compliance
  • Support supply chain team with technical product information
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer between departments

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in product documentation or similar role
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements in regulated industries
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of Malaysian manufacturing standards (preferred)

Experience in vaping or FMCG industry (preferred)
