English Language Instructor (PART-TIME: normal office hours for a certain period of time)

We are in search of a part-time English Language Instructor who is able to commence the role on 6 January 2025 onwards for our school holiday programs.

• To plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive English both in-person and online.
• To ensure good teaching practice including monitoring learners’ progress, and providing feedback to all stakeholders.
• To ensure compliance to policies, procedures, and licensing of the language centre.
• To maintain accurate administrative student and programme records.
• To develop and update teaching and learning materials for different English programmes including online content for courses.
• To create a quality learning environment including organizing and participating in extra curricular activities.

Expected Requirements

• A relevant first degree and/or postgraduate teaching qualifications. Or a first degree and possess a Cert TESOL or TEFL.
• A fluent English speaker.
• At least 3 years of experience as an English language teacher.
• Able to use appropriate LMS and video conferencing platforms for online lesson.
• Some experience at developing online content for courses.

Desirable Skills

• Able to communicate clearly both in written and spoken English to learners whose first language is not English.
• Ability to work independently and adjust teaching approach to meet the learners’ needs.
• Confident and patient.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
