About the Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and the technical skills to transform raw footage into compelling video content. You will work closely with our creative, marketing, and production teams to produce high-quality videos that align with our brand and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw video footage into polished content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts, storyboards, and scripts.
  • Enhance video quality through color correction, audio editing, and special effects.
  • Ensure videos align with the brand guidelines and meet project requirements.
  • Organize and manage media assets, ensuring efficient workflow and file storage.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools to improve video quality and efficiency.
  • Handle feedback and make revisions to meet client or team expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
  • Excellent storytelling skills with a focus on visual and audio elements.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in creating content for specific platforms, such as YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram.
  • Knowledge of cinematography principles, including framing and lighting.
  • Familiarity with audio editing software, such as Audacity or Adobe Audition.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design tools like Photoshop or Illustrator.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,523.99 - RM3,000.00 per month
