Role Purpose

Responsible for supporting the Commercial Planning team in CCO Office in developing and managing overall Commercial Strategies execution and monitoring key KPIs for the organization. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Commercial Planning and will assist in developing and executing plans to optimize revenue, enhance efficiency, and drive profitability.

Key Accountability

  • Work with the Commercial Planning team in the development and implementation of the airline's commercial strategy, aligning with overall business goals.
  • Coordinate with the CCO and the Head of Business Units in planning and setting the key performance indicators (KPIs) within the commercial division when required assistance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including those within Commercial and Group Level i.e. Finance, Corporate Strategy to implement revenue generating efforts.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to support CML Planning team in preparing materials for higher management-level presentations and meetings.
  • Track, manage and monitor the KPIs within the commercial division and scrutinize the Revenue Performance report.
  • Assist CCO in various forum coordination eg: coordinate the Weekly Meeting and other key updates required - proactively track and monitor the action tracking sheet to ensure smooth day-to-day running of CCO office (with regards to key Revenue Projects).
  • Ensure professionalism in managing different stakeholder's expectations, fostering cohesive and timely execution of the division's strategic plans and to with within CML Planning team.
  • Analyze and report on sales data to identify trends and provide insights to support decision making.

Qualifications & Working Experience

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Management, Statistics or related field with 3-4 years experience in Commercial, Revenue Management or Sales is critical with Project Management/Commercial Strategy experience.
  • Master in in BA with working experience in Commercial Aviation Experience will be an added advantage.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role in the commercial planning department of a fast-paced organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to analyse data and create reports.
  • Tactful when dealing with officials and senior management and able to independently make decisions when necessary, high level organizational skill.
  • Strong Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing and overall Airline Commercial Business Insights.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skill. The ability to establish credibility and exert influence with key stakeholders at both a strategic and operational level.
