Video Editor

Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and cutting raw footage into engaging, logical, and aesthetically pleasing sequences. You will collaborate with our marketing, creative, and content teams to produce high-quality video content for various platforms, ensuring the final product aligns with our brand and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-production:

• Plan the concept, storyline, script, and storyboard for video projects.
• Obtain approvals for ideas and concepts before production begins.
• Collaborate with the marketing team, including social media, content writers, and creatives, to ensure project timelines and workflows are well-organized and meet deadlines.

Production:

• Capture and record video footage, moments, and content for projects.
• Work closely with videographers, graphic designers, and other creatives to ensure cohesive content creation.
• Trim and assemble footage, creating a smooth sequence and sequence of scenes.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and special effects to enhance the visual experience.
• Produce rough and final cuts, ensuring the final product is polished and visually engaging.

Post-production:

• Consult with stakeholders throughout the post-production process to ensure project alignment.
• Work with the social media team to prepare content for online release and ensure it aligns with marketing goals.
• Maintain brand consistency and follow established brand guidelines.
• Save and organize final video files for future use, both offline (hard drive) and online (YouTube and other platforms).

Editing Software:

• Proficient in Mobile App Video Editing for quick and flexible edits.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (PC) for video editing.

Broadcast Software:

• Comfortable using Zoom and Streamyard for live-streaming and virtual broadcasts.

Additional Skills:

• Ability to take high-quality photos and videos using cameras and smartphones.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity, with a passion for storytelling through video.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams.

Qualifications:

• Experience in video and motion picture editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Knowledge of video production processes from concept through post-production.
• Familiarity with current trends in video content creation for social media and digital platforms.

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
