We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Manager, Global Payment Centre who will be responsible for the strategic leadership, management and oversight of the organization's SWIFT and RENTAS operations. This role requires a deep understanding of the payments industry, regulatory landscape and technological advancements. The successful candidates will reports to Head of Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Managerial
- Manage overall administration and management of operations of SWIFT/RENTAS section with stay updated on industry trends/technological advancements to drive innovation and improve operational efficiency.
- Execute the unit's strategic plan, aligning with the organization's business goals and oversee the day-to-day operations of SWIFT & RENTAS functions including payment processing, reconciliation and exception handling.
- Review operational procedures and formulate risks to mitigate reputational risks associated with SWIFT & RENTAS Operations and continuously enhance SWIFT & RENTAS processes to improve productivity.
- Manage the unit's budget and resources effectively adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements including AML/CTF regulations.
- Build strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors and Regulators in line with Bank's service standards policy.
- Formulate and manage work improvement and process re-engineering projects assigned by Head of Department.
- Manage and fully involve in the related project i.e. attend project meetings, scope out requirements, discussion with various stakeholders, prepare and perform UAT/regression tests.
- Provide solutions to operations team in handling queries and achieve established targets of service standards for all customer complaints at a reasonable minimum to maintain rapport and loyalty.
- Initiate quality initiatives, promote team, service excellence culture and plan staff training programs to enhance staff competency in risk and compliance.
- Timely and accurate compilation of statistics, analysis for reporting and risk management within cut-off times with ensuring its compliance with Bank's regulatory policies and service level for both internally and externally.

Job Requirements:
Education/Qualification
- Malaysian citizen.
- Degree in any discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in payments/branch operations/risk management with strong focus on SWIFT & RENTAS. Similar years experience in risk & project management also will be consider.
- Knowledge and experience on ISO 20022 message standard and broader understanding on payments technologies landscape system e.g. SAA.
- Rapport with PayNet and SWIFT would be essential.
- Good command of English (spoken & writing), strong management of leadership skills and decision-making skills.
