Job Overview:

The Busser at Ministry of Crab (MOC) Kuala Lumpur plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized and efficient dining environment. This position supports the FOH team by promptly clearing and resetting tables, assisting with guest needs, and ensuring that all areas of the restaurant meet MOC’s fine dining standards. The ideal candidate is attentive, team-oriented, and eager to contribute to a seamless dining experience

Key Responsibilities:

1) Table Maintenance & Clearing

• Clear tables promptly after guests finish, removing dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently and discreetly
• 2. Reset tables with attention to detail, ensuring each setting aligns with M)C’s presentation standards
• 3. Assist waiters with food and beverage delivery, removing empty plates, and replenishing water as needed

2) Dining Area Cleanliness **

• Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including floors, chairs, and tables, throughout service
• Ensure that service stations are fully stocked and organized with all necessary items
• Assist in keeping the bar, server stations, and reception areas clean and presentable * *

3) Guest Assistance & Support * *

• Greet guests with a friendly demeanor, providing assistance as needed to ensure their comfort
• Respond to guest request by relaying them to servers and management, ensuring guests feels attended to
• Assist with delivering water, or other items to tables when required

4) Operational Support **

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning service areas, organizing supplies, and stocking items
• Communicate with the FOH team to ensure a smooth flow of service, helping to manage any high-volume period
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring sanitation and cleanliness at all times

Qualification:

• Prior experience as a busser or in a similar support role in a upscale or fine dining environment is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
• Positive attitude, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
• Flexible schedule to work nights, weekends, and holidays as per restaurant needs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Restaurant Management: 3 years (Preferred)
