Summary:
An Account Manager is responsible for overseeing client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and managing the delivery of products or services. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Job Responsibilities:
· Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
· Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
· Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
· Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- accounts payable/receivable
- month and end-year process
- cash receipts
- general ledger
- payroll and utilities
- treasury, budgeting
- cash forecasting
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- capital assets reconciliations
- bank reconciliations
- check runs
- fixed asset activity
- debt activity
- inventory control
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Provide recommendations
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- liaison for audit and tax matters
Qualification requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
· Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
· Ability to handle large amounts of data effectively.
· Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to direct and supervise
· ACCA qualification is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
