Company: TransSystem Continental Sdn Bhd EITA Resources acquired a 60% stake in TransSystem Continental Sdn Bhd (TSC) on 2016. TSC was previously incorporated on 8th April 2009 under the Malaysia Company Act,1995.
TSC is run by a dedicated team of experienced and qualified engineers and technicians, most of whom have more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the field of electricity generation, transmission, distribution and utilisation. Our speciality is in the implementation electrical substation ranging from LV to EHV up to 500KV.
In addition, we are also involved in the local manufacturing of Control Protection relay panels, Marshalling Kiosk, Metering Panels and related equipment to complement primary substation implementation business
Job Description
1. To advise the employer or any person in charge of a place of work the measures to be taken in the interests of the safety and health of the persons employed in the place of works.
2. To assist the safety and health committee in any inspection of the place of work for the purposes of checking the effectiveness and efficacy of any measures taken in compliance with All related Act, Regulation and Guideline.
3. To inspect the place of work to determine whether any machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliances or process or any description of manual labour used in the place of work.
4. To become secretary to the safety and health committee.
5. To collect, to analyze and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and occupational disease which have occurred at the place of work.
6. To assist any officer in carrying made by the employer or any person in-charge of the place of work on any matters pertaining to safety and health of the place of work.
7. Reports to Project Manager Assist and advice Line Management on the implementation of the Site Safety Management Plan.
8. Provide advice to Line Management on the development of Safe Operating PROCEDURES, Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
9. Prepare Site Safety Statistic & Site Safety Monthly Report.
10. Carry out weekly and monthly Safety Inspection.
11. Review all Near misses / Incidents / Accidents/ Ensure the site maintains records and documentation as per the company statutory requirements.
12. To identify any inefficiency and suggest improvement proposal where possible.
13. To deliver the result within value system of EITA.
14. And any other duties as assigned by the HOD from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of working experience in Occupational Safety and Health industry.
- Good planning and organization skill.
- Candidate must have Green Book & CIDB is required.
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Possess good interpersonal skills and ability to provide solution for problem solving
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English
- must be willing to Outstation.
- Willing to work at night when needs arises
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
