  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing financial insights to the management. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. You will start working remotely first and be expected to join onsite at DTL's Malaysia office after it is set up.

Responsibilities

  • Daily accounting tasks including expense tracking, general ledger entries, etc.
  • Preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Perform GST reporting and other tax filing/compliance
  • Support internal and external audit
  • Other ad-hoc tasks assigned to you

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent field, with 2-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Detail-oriented with ability to complete tasks in an accurate and thorough manner
  • Proactive and hands-on
  • Team player with good communication skills

The following skills are bonus

  • Knowledge of MYOB/Xero or other popular accounting software/cloud solutions
  • Knowledge on consolidation accounting for foreign subsidiaries
  • Working knowledge in IFRS reporting with latest developments
  • CPA/ACCA or its equivalents
  • Familiarity with MAS regulatory reporting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary
  • Performance bonus
  • Yearly bonus

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Accounting: 2 years (Required)
