Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and processes to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities.
- Carry out preparation for equipment maintenance and to ensure daily maintenance work carry out smoothly.
- Supervise and guide the technician and contractors to carry out the good quality of maintenance services.
- To investigate and report the actual causes of any delay.
- To check the acceptance of project documents, vendor documents, method statement, working drawing and others are compliance with the requirement.
- To check the revised drawing, construction plan and other documents involved submitted by contractors are proper & practical.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
- Preferably at least 5 years experience in plant maintenance.
- Good writing and oral skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Knowledge of Machine facilities (Statics / Rotating Equipment) or Instrument.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Windows)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
