DRAUGHTSMAN

Responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and designs to support the delivery of engineering projects. Requirements: • Formal qualification in engineering drafting or a related discipline • Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation • Excellent technical drawing and design skills with an eye for detail • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities • Effective communication and collaboration skills • Knowledge of engineering design principles, construction methods and industry regulations • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Responsibilities: • Preparing technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections and details, using CAD software • Interpreting project specifications, sketches and instructions to create accurate and comprehensive technical drawings • Revising and updating drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients and other stakeholders • Ensuring drawings comply with relevant regulations, standards and company guidelines • Maintaining project documentation and drawing registers • Providing support to the engineering team as needed
