Construction Manager

Brief Job Description: As a head and member of our construction team, you will oversee and fully responsible for all aspects of the assigned projects from commencement to completion. You will manage the projects in a manner that exceeds our shareholders as well as customers’ expectations and ensures that the work adheres to all company requirements include the deadlines of the project, budget control, quality control and assurance, safety policies and OSHA standard. This position reports to the Project Director includes the Directors for the development and construction division and is based in our project site office as may be assigned. Your Roles & Functions: 1) To be decisive and results driven, focused leadership on leading internal and external project team members. 2) To be honest and accountable to yourself, your clients, contractors, subcontractors and your co-workers. 3) Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry. 4) Set clear goals and expectations to subordinates especially the project milestone, Standard of Practice (SOP). Method statement of construction and inspection, provide coaching/counselling to foreman/subordinates. 5) Manage and oversee all construction aspects of the projects, including attending the relevant meetings, collaborate with inter departments, consultants and authorities and preparation of the periodical progress reports to the management. 6) Negotiate and resolve all technical or customer concerns. 7) When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects, manage all jobs closeout procedures, catch-up plan to address delay of progress, and conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement. 8) Undertake special assignment, ad-hoc function and related duties as and when necessary
