Job Scope Monitoring the supply, delivery, and storage of construction materials. Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery. Verifying the quality and quantity of materials received against purchase orders. Inventory Control Maintaining accurate records of material inventory. Conducting regular stock checks to prevent shortages or surpluses. Managing material usage to minimize waste. Quality Assurance Ensuring materials meet project specifications and quality standards. Inspecting materials for defects or damages before use. Coordination Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to forecast material needs. Planning material deliveries to avoid delays in project timelines. Coordinating with warehouse teams for proper storage practices. Safety and Compliance Ensuring all materials are stored and handled according to safety guidelines. Keeping up-to-date with regulations and standards related to construction materials. Documentation Preparing and maintaining material-related documentation, including delivery receipts, inspection reports, and inventory logs. Reporting any discrepancies or issues to relevant stakeholders.
