1. Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive OSH and Risk Executive Assistance to support the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Risk Management teams in ensuring workplace safety, compliance with safety regulations, and the effective management of potential risks.
2. Key Responsibilities:
a. Safety Compliance Support:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of OSH policies and safety programs.
- Ensure adherence to local, national, and international safety regulations and standards.
- Monitor and report on workplace safety compliance.
b. Risk Assessment and Management:
- Support in conducting risk assessments and hazard identification processes across the organization.
- Assist in analysing and mitigating risks, ensuring the organization’s ability to respond effectively to potential threats.
- Assist in maintaining risk registers and ensuring appropriate risk controls are in place.
c. Incident Investigation and Reporting:
- Assist with investigating workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Document incident reports, track safety trends, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
d. Training and Awareness:
- Support in organizing and conducting OSH training programs and safety awareness sessions for employees.
- Assist in preparing safety materials and presentations to promote a safety-conscious culture in the organization.
e. Safety Audits and Inspections:
- Assist in conducting routine safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Prepare audit reports and assist in the development of action plans based on audit findings.
f. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, risk assessments, incidents, and other relevant documentation.
- Prepare and submit reports on safety performance, risk mitigation efforts, and ongoing initiatives to management.
g. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks in various areas of the organization (e.g., operations, HR, facilities management).
- Work closely with the OSH and Risk teams to support risk mitigation efforts and ensure safety objectives are met.
3. Qualifications:
a. Education:
- A degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, Risk Management, or a related field.
4. Skills:
- Strong understanding of OSH regulations, safety practices, and risk management processes.
- Good communication and organizational skills to interact with employees at all levels and document safety-related data.
- Ability to analyse risk-related data and assist in developing action plans.
5. Benefits:
a. An allowance of RM2000.00 per month.

Job Types: Temporary, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
