INTERNSHIP IN QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily operations of commercial & procurement department.
• Pre-qualification and compiling tenderer list for calling of tender for management approval.
• Coordinate pre-contract drawings and documents with all consultants and make sure no discrepancies in drawings and all the documents provided are sufficient for calling tender.
• Prepare Interim Valuation recommendations, Variation Order claims, and taking off quantities for contractors’ payment to ensure their claim is correct.
• Evaluate and prepare payment recommendations for consultant claims to ensure their claim is correct.
• Assessment of variation order claim by contractor and settlement of Final Accounts to close the projects had ended.
• Procuring of miscellaneous works quotation to achieve a competitive price before preparing the letter award to them.
• Compile contract document for binding after tender award to determine an enforceable contract under the law.
• Perform any other job functions that may be assigned by the Superior.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be currently pursuing Diploma, Bachelor Degree or equivalent (Prefereably in QS/Contract Field).
• Possess a good command of written and speaking in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel will be added advantages.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Seksyen U12, Shah Alam.
• Internship for at least 3 months.

Pay: RM500.00 per month
