Key roles & responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all hotel operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Provide leadership and support to front desk, reservations, and housekeeping teams.
  • Conduct regular meetings and briefings with department heads.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Hotel Operating Controls, SOPs, policies, and service standards .
  • Manage staffing schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage across all shifts.
  • Implement comprehensive training programs to develop team members' skills across all roles and responsibilities.
  • Continuously evaluate and monitor team performance to optimize efficiency and service quality.
  • Prepare and execute the annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan for the hotel.
  • Monitor daily business reports to track and enhance hotel performance .
  • Implement strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue through innovative sales initiatives.
  • Take accountability for department heads and manage guest complaints effectively.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field in Hotel management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Duty Manager or 2 years as Front Office Manager in hotel management.
  • Proficiency in hotel management best practices and data entry software .
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with meticulous attention to detail.
