Company Description
Corroserv (M) Sdn Bhd specializes in solvent-free chemically resistant coatings & linings for application onto hot, cold/sweating surfaces without a shutdown, as well as a full range of composites for online application onto surfaces that are hot, sweating & underwater. Our company is located in Kuantan, Pahang.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Executive, who will be responsible for HR management, HR operations, employee relations, HR policies, and human resources at Corroserv (M) Sdn Bhd.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees
- Handle employee inquiries, grievances, and conflicts
- Create and provide reports on employee attendance, claims, holidays, and more for management review. Generate HR reports, metrics, and analytics to support decision-making
- Maintain organized records and documentation of claims, holiday schedules, and related communications
- Synchronize with department heads in performance appraisals, help define performance goals, and offer guidance on improvement plans
- Coordinate and administer training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports, including personnel files, employee data and performance metrics
- Work closely with the Finance department to ensure payroll and related transactions are processed accurately and on time
- Implement and participate in employee engagement activities, surveys, and initiatives to boost employee morale and job satisfaction
- Facilitate internal communication efforts, such as newsletters, announcements, and HR-related updates
- Develop and partnerships with universities, build relationships with academic institutions, and work on programs to attract and nurture talent for the company
Required Skills/ Abilities
- Proficient using Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in HR software and systems
- Adaptability to changing HR trends and practices
Qualifications
- Minimum diploma/ bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, HRDF and related statutory bodies requirements.
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of working experience in oil and gas or related industries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
