Lorry Driver

Key Responsibilities:

1. Driving and Delivery:

• Operate company lorries safely and responsibly to transport goods to designated locations.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods according to the schedule and instructions.
• Plan efficient routes to minimize delivery times and fuel usage.

2. Loading and Unloading:

• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Verify that goods match delivery orders and report any discrepancies immediately.

3. Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.
• Report any mechanical issues or damages to the vehicle promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lorry, inside and out.

Requirements:

• Possess a valid GDL driving license.
• Proven experience as a lorry driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with road safety regulations and local routes.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy goods (if applicable).
• Strong time management skills and punctuality.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience driving 3-tonne vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to use GPS or other navigation systems efficiently.

Pay: RM1,567.07 - RM3,845.26 per month
