Machinist I

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate basic machining equipment, such as CNC lathes, CNC milling 3-Axis.
• Set up machines with guidance to meet production specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed.
• Produce parts in accordance with blueprints, technical drawing, or production instructions.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform deburring and finishing processes on machined parts.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubrication.
• Adhere to all workplace safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
• Record production data, including qualities produced and any machine issues encountered.
• Report any non-conformance, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the superior.
• Participate in training to improve machining skills and technical knowledge.
• Learn to interpret blueprints and work with more complex machinery over time.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, vocational training in machining is preferred.
• 1 to 2 Years of experience in a related field.
• Certification in CNC Milling or related technical skills in an advantage.
• Basic understanding of machining tools and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings.
• Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and Pin Gauge.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
