ROLLING MILL SPECIALIST

• Operate and control rolling mill machinery to reduce or form metal into plates, sheets, foils, flat wires, and rods of specified dimensions. • Continuously monitor the rolling process, adjusting machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency. • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on rolling mill machinery to ensure their longevity and optimal operation. • Inspect the quality of rolled metal during and after the rolling process, identifying and addressing any defects or inconsistencies. • Diagnose and resolve any mechanical or technical issues that arise with the rolling machinery. • Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered. • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. • Work closely with other production team members, engineers, and supervisors to optimize the rolling process and address any challenges.
