Position Overview:
As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and enhancing customer health outcomes. You will work closely with nearby healthcare professionals and patients to deliver comprehensive medication management and counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Medication Management:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness, contraindications, and potential drug interactions.
2. Patient Counseling:
- Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Provide guidance on over-the-counter medications and health products.
3. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding medication dispensing and storage.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
4. Inventory Management:
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering, stocking, and disposing of medications as needed.
- Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper storage conditions.
5. Continuing Education:
- Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and industry trends.
- Participate in professional development activities and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from MQA accredited institution.
- Able to apply for License A
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
