Responsibilities and Authorities:
- Coordinate and liaise on shipment documentation with the company's clients, either by phone or email. Tasks to be accomplished include:
a) Liaise and negotiate with customers and Customer Service Advisers regarding documentation and related issues.
b) Filing, pre-checking billing, and closely following up with customers’ requirements on methods of documentation and billing.
- Coordinate and liaise with the Customer Service team and accounts team regarding documentation and customer issues.
- Coordinate and liaise with the forwarding department and forwarding agents for customs documentation.
- Process export or import shipments using the in-house developed system and generate documentation such as CDA, OSR, and others.
- Assist superiors in solving customer problems by improving workflow.
- Answer all incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
- Notwithstanding the above, you may be required to perform ad hoc duties from time to time.
Competency Requirements (Education, Training, and Experience):
- Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/“O” Level, Higher Secondary/STPM/“A” Level, or Pre-U qualifications in any field.
- Must be computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Dedicated and self-motivated; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance.
- Responsible, a fast learner, and able to communicate well with all levels
