Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger (GL):
- Prepare and review monthly journals (Payroll, Cost & Revenue Accruals, Prepayments).
- Manage monthly Fixed Asset postings (Additions, Disposals, Depreciations).
- Prepare and review monthly trial balance and adjustment journals.
- Perform and reconcile monthly Balance Sheet accounts.
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Oversee the full AR cycle, from retail collections to account postings and monthly closing.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates of invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Accounts Payable (AP):
- Collaborate with trade suppliers to ensure invoice accuracy and timeliness.
- Reporting & Budgeting:
- Prepare and review Monthly Management Accounting (MMA) Reports.
- Assist in the preparation and review of the yearly budget.
- Support yearly audit processes and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
- General Finance Tasks:
- Generate scheduled/ad hoc reports and improve process workflows.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy in task delivery, guided by KPIs and SLA.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (including double-entry bookkeeping).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Added advantage: Knowledge of ERP systems like MS GP.
- Detail-oriented and analytical thinker.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
