SECURITY GUARD

JOB PURPOSE

Security Guard is responsible to protect organization’s property, employee and visitors. Security Guard is responsible to deny any unauthorised entry, detect any suspicious happenings and preventing vandalism, thefts or any other criminal behaviour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates to safeguard against theft and maintain security of premises.

2. Ensure visitors sign in upon arrival and exit and make sure visitors aware of rules that must be adhered to.

3. Operate security clocking systems and ensure security assets are maintained and functioning well at all times.

4. Patrol regularly company premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

5. Observe signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.

6. Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences and inform any suspicious incident in details

7. Report serious crimes immediately to immediate superior.

8. Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over.

9. Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly.

10. Respond to any triggering of emergency alarms and react in a timely manner and lawfully in direct defence of human life and property, call police/fire/ambulance department in cases of emergency.

11. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

12. Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours.

13. Perform duties in complying with Company’s mandated guidelines, Company’s Food Safety System, Company’s Policy and Procedure, and Rule and Regulations governed by the law of Malaysia.

14. To perform task and work requirement as and when required and assigned.

15. Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Candidate must Minimum education SPM or equivalent is preferred.

- At least 1 year working experience as Security Guard is needed.

- Qualification in Security Training is preferred.

- Able to speak and write in Bahasa Malaysia / English.

- Having basic first aid skills and fire training would be advantageous.

- Must be healthy and fit to work.

- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocol.

- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.

- Positive working attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month

Schedule:

• Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Overtime pay
