We are seeking a motivated and result-driven Sales Manager to maximize resort bookings and revenue through Online Travel Agencies (OTA) such as Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb etc. The ideal candidate will excel in strategic planning, client relations and market analysis to drive success in a competitive hospitality market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Design and implement strategies to increase resort bookings and revenue via OTAs, aligning with revenue and market share goals.
- Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies to meet revenue and occupancy targets
- Revenue Optimization: Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing, availability, and promotional offers to boost bookings.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with OTA partners to ensure optimal exposure and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitor performance and market trends, leveraging insights to refine sales strategies.
- Content Management: Ensure OTA listings are accurate, visually appealing, and regularly updated to attract guests.
- Cross - Department Collaboration: Work closely with resort operations and marketing teams to align distribution and promotional strategies.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Analyze sales data, monitor KPIs, and prepare reports for management to assess performance.
- Promotion Management: Plan and execute seasonal and special promotions to drive demand during peak and off-peak periods.
- Issue Resolution: Handle booking discrepancies, overbooking cases, and guest complaints efficiently.
- Team Training: Educate resort teams on OTA best practices, sales techniques, and platform-specific strategies to maximize results.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a diploma and degree certificate.
- Required skill(s): MS Office (Word, Excel), Google Drive.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- Proven experience in OTA sales or hospitality sales management.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles and tools.
- Familiarity with OTA platforms and market trends in the hospitality industry.
- Applicants must be process with own transport.
- Energetic candidate and willing to learn new things
- Preferably below 35 years old
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
