- To attend the daily briefings.
- Work closely with other Sales Managers to ensure cooperation of hotel promotions and packages at Ancasa Royale Pekan.
- Works within the established marketing plan by assignment from the Director of Sales.
- To call upon all Travel Agents and Airlines, Corporate companies, Government, semi-government, and Embassies, which have been agreed and allocated to you for coverage.
- Works within established sales accounts on existing and potential clients and solicits new and repeat business from these accounts through a trace system as defined in the Standard Operating Procedures and as directed by the Director of Sales.
- Develop and present bid proposals to prospective convention groups.
- Secures new convention and group trade business for the city through research, industry trade shows, direct mail, telephone solicitation, and direct sales calls.
- Liaises with Sales staff from competitive hotels to determine market promotions, standards, and prices.
- To endeavor to achieve and exceed agreed room nights targets to meet in our forecasts.
- To attend and follow up on all inquiries and sales leads generated from various sources.
- To assist the function organizers on any last-minute request.
- Send letters of appreciation & service questionnaires to all qualifying accounts.
- Supervises Banquet, Front Office, and Bell Services in the operation of banquets.
- Advises on special promotions or plans for improving sales and service for banquet and convention sales.
- To handle inquiries, ensure prompt follow-up, and provide daily reports on the number of calls. Ensure bookings and reservations of rooms and meeting rooms are in order.
- To provide feedback on customer's needs and expectation for planning and forecasting purposes.
- To plan and organize Blitzes in your area of accountability.
- To assist in promoting special events and cross-selling within the group hotel properties.
- Maintain accurate records regarding all banquet activities.
- Conduct hotel tours demonstrating services and facilities that can contribute to successful functions.
- To be present on customer arrival and personally oversee all sold functions etc, in regard to customer relations and to be sure of future bookings.
- Monitors and reports all expenditures made in relation to Sales and Marketing activities according to hotel policy.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff, and employers.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Submits regular reports to Asst. Director of Sales & Director of Sales and Marketing.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
